Who you are dealing with

relayword.com is operated by Liam Nelson ("we"). By downloading or using Relay, or by using this website, you agree to these terms.

Beta software, provided as-is

Relay is in beta (current version 0.2.2). It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It may contain bugs, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and may lose or mangle text. Keep your own copies of anything important. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Relay or this site.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Relay on Macs you own or control, for your own use. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent or lend Relay or any license key, or remove or alter any notices in it. You may not reverse-engineer Relay except where the law allows it regardless of this term.

A license key is issued to one email address and is for that person only. Do not share it. We may revoke keys that are shared, abused, or obtained through the signup form in an automated way.

Pricing

Relay is free during the beta. Paid plans are planned, but no prices, discounts or terms for early users have been published, and nothing on this site or in any email should be read as a promise of future pricing beyond what is written on the pricing page at the time you buy. The free beta may end with notice by email to people who signed up and a note on this site.

Refunds

Nothing is sold today, so there is nothing to refund. When paid plans launch, the refund policy will be published alongside the prices before any purchase can be made.

Acceptable use

Do not use Relay or this site to break the law, to interfere with the service, or to submit automated signups or feedback. Do not use the signup form with email addresses that are not yours.

Third-party services

If you connect Relay to your own AI provider (for example with an API key) or to a local model, your use of that provider is governed by its terms, and any charges it bills are yours. Downloads are hosted on GitHub under GitHub's terms.

Privacy

How we handle data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of business, and any dispute will be heard in the courts there, unless the consumer-protection law where you live gives you rights that cannot be overridden.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use Relay after a change means you accept the updated terms.
